Drums and Percussion provided by REMO.   No reservation needed.  Just show up.

All levels welcome.  No experience necessary.  

Starts at 7PM.  Warm up starts at 6:30PM.

Founded in 2000 by San Francisco Bay Area percussionist and art therapist Jeni Swerdlow, DRUMMM’s hands-on drum circle programs have captivated hundreds of thousands of participants at events in the United States and abroad.

San Francisco Bay Area percussionist and art therapist Jeni Swerdlow, MA-ATR is a dynamic and engaging facilitator, trainer, presenter, and performer. Founding DRUMMM Rhythmic Events® in 2000, her interactive, “hands-on” group drumming programs have engaged many thousands of participants at a variety of events in the U.S. and abroad. Swerdlow is best known for her innovative strategies and playful attitude that foster teambuilding, support wellness, enhance celebrations, and strengthen community for event participants of all ages and backgrounds.

Swerdlow is a Remo-Endorsed Drum Circle Facilitator, trained HealthRHYTHMS and Village Music Facilitator, and lifelong student of West African drumming and world percussion. She is a Registered Art Therapist (A.T.R.) with over 20 years of professional facilitation experience. She holds an M.A. in Art Therapy from the University of Illinois Chicago and a B.A. in Visual Arts and Psychology from University of California San Diego.  





Founder of FREEDOM DRUM CIRCLES is recognized as a professional bilingual (Spanish and English) recreational drum circle facilitator. His Recreational rhythm events are designed to serve the needs of many institutions and organizations. As a trained Health Rhythms facilitator, Christopher uses drums and percussion as wellness tools that embody a fun and creative approach to connect people of all backgrounds and ages with little or no musical experience. His guided rhythm journey encourages participants to contribute their unique voices to the success of the whole drumming experience. This activity builds confidence and promotes creative unity within a musical experience shared by all. Other events include corporate team building conventions, employee retreats, concerts, and communities for the arts, festivals, private celebrations and educational programs. As a percussionist and drum instructor Christopher brings a dynamic musical experience to all events.  Christopher shares his passion for drumming with community groups such as Youth at Risk, Autism Camps and Senior Citizens Groups, Rehab and Recovery Organizations. ”At a Freedom Drum Circle, participants do not require prior musical experience. ANYONE CAN DO IT! There are never any mistakes!  

The REMO Recreational Music Center is dedicated to providing an atmosphere where people from all walks of life, of all ages, with or without a musical background, can experience making music with others in a welcoming, friendly, non-challenging environment and experience the benefit and joys of making music.
