Learn to play El Cajon (Peruvian Box) in a fun and creative atmosphere at the REMO RMC.  Homero Chavez was one of the catalysts that created the Cajon fever in the USA. His unique approach to playing El Cajon, his design of the ergonomic Cajon and experience both in traditional and nontraditional styles has given him the opportunity to participate in the premier Percussion Festivals around the globe as well as the opportunity to record with and performed with world renowned Artists.  

 

  • The workshop is open to beginning students as well as advance
  • Covers most Popular Styles of Music 
  • Develop a personal sound 
  • Create a musical experience combining other hand percussion

 

Homero Chavez currently teaches at Claremont Community Music School. He’s served as the President and VP for PAS in the State of California. Homero has two different signature model Cajons in the market, a Peruvian style and a Flamenco style.
